Many thanks for those pictures Steven! It's like MRE-heaven... :lol:

And while i probably already know the answer, is shipping MRE's to Europe an option yet? Or will it be an option in the future?

No problem for pictures - you guys probably just opened the pandora's box though... I've been running around this morning snapping photo's and driving my guys crazy. It's like asking a new father if his daughter is beuatiful - he'll always whip out a million photographs to prove she was the prettiest kid ever born :wink:

You asked for it...

Here's a shot of one of our many rows of pallets stacked 3 high in probably 15 rows. Most of this side is canned butter from New Zealand, but towards the rear you should be able to make out a few rows of MRE entree's. I think they were Beef Stew and Chicken Strips with Salsa;

Here's a shot of a pallet of MRE Tabasco Bottles. Each box has 500 mini-bottles of it, and when you get within about 10 feet of it, you can smell the Tabasco as strong as if you just poured it over your Chicken Dumplings. I don't know why, I guess the cardboard picks up the odors from the plant during manufacture. We used to have a pallet of the green Tabasco, and it was the same way except it smelled like Jalapeno;

On shipping MRE's to Europe, we'll do it no problem, we just have to do it manually, and it is a bit risky as they do get confiscated as military surplus from time to time. But I don't mind running them to the Post Office for you.

Here’s some more for you... 8)

I’m not sure if you will be able to make the labels out, but this is a pallet of about 40 cases of Beef Patty, Grilled entrée’s - 68 entrée’s per box;

Image

And here’s a shot of a pallet of USGI Freeze Dried/Dehydrated Boneless Pork Chops. They’re light, so they can go up high on the racks. You’ll notice a pallet of MRE Star MRE’s on the left up high as well;

Image

Here’s a shot down MRE Entrée Row as we call it. This is mix of full pallets of MRE Entrée’s - everything from Chili with Beans to Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, Ham & Shrimp Jambalaya and Chicken Cavatelli. Each pallet is a different entrée, and these are for a FEMA contract;

Image

And I snapped a quick picture last night of a few of our warehouse guys waiting on our loading dock for UPS to pick up the days shipping. I would say that probably 75% of those boxes contain cases of MRE’s. We double box them inside of packing peanuts to both protect them and to not advertise the contents. We package them 1 case to a box, 2 cases to a box or as many as 4 cases to a box for the MRE Star or aPack MRE’s;

Enough! I can't stand any more pics of this massive MRE inventory! I find myself going out to my garage, staring at my pitiful stack of MRE and entree cases, and just breaking down into a fit of extreme MRE jealousy/depression.

:-) Just kidding...great pics...keep 'em coming!

OK, you asked for it;-). And I haven't even been to the overflow warehouse yet. I'll drive by there tonight on my way home and snap some more photos from there...

Here are some more pictures of MRE Star MRE’s;

Here’s some more MRE entrée’s and Pork Chops;

And this is a shot of more canned butter from New Zealand;

And this one should crack everyone up... Here’s a picture of about 12+ pallets of MRE spoons (LC Industries) that we have on hand. I think that is about 400,000 little brown spoons total;

Ok, someone is bound to ask it so let me just get it out of the way...

What the heck are you going to do with 400,000 spoons? I envision an army of guys like this marching down the street:

Spoons

Ha - too funny!! Actually, I ask myself the same question all the time.

There's a couple of reasons behind it. First, our BOA (Bulk Order Agreement) with DHS/FEMA requires that we have a certain level of inventory on hand, so in the past we have purchased directly from LCI when levels got too low. And the second reason is that when you purchase overruns you have to take everything contained in the bid, regardless of the quantity or item.

We may purchase a $200K bid in order to get our hands on $150K of the stuff we really want (entree's, brownies, cookies, side dishes, etc.), and you always wind up with a bunch stuff you didn't really want/need (MRE toilet paper, MRE Iced Tea, Red Hot candy, MRE picante sauce, and in this case a ton of MRE spoons...).

I'm with you Kman...... After seeing "Steve's Stash", my own supply somehow doesn't quite look the same anymore. :cry:

I would like to put a plug in here for one of Steve's products that I have ordered in the past: the Red Feather canned butter. It's an absolutely wonderful product that belongs in everyone's emergency stores. The taste is fantastic (it blew me away when I first tried some). Talk about good on pancakes!

Your only problem with it will be fighting the tendency of grabbing a can of it out of your stores whenever you want some butter, and not actually keeping it for emergencies. Good stuff!! :D

Steve,
I've seen those cans of butter and cheese online and have been tempted to try them, Any chance for a 'two pack sampler' ? One of each, that is ?
Nice pics, BTW !

I know that Oddball has them on his site, you can order a can of each, it's in another thread. That's actually what I'm ordering, I want to try them before I buy them kinda deal.
