Nope JFKO your starting to take it personally.
Extremists áre religious people. The problem is that other people, that have the trust of the "religious" people, tell them things, that "is the word of god".

You simply won't get it, because your a normal religious type, that doesn't have any extremist ideas.

Extremists are simply dumb.. (censored) people.. that believe in something, like Allah or it might even be the flying spaghetti monster.. but the thing is, that they are brainwashed, because they get told it's the will of god.

Every sacret book can be interpreted on 1000 ways. Because, as far as I know, in every books is written "you shall not kill or harm others".

That those extremists don't believe in the normal book, doesn't change the fact that they are religious.
They simply believe the wrong stuff, and you can't tell me that the israel conflict isn't about religion..

And if you're trying to say that, please awnser the question, why the israelis came to that part of the world after ww2..

It's nothing personal against you, and I'm not against religion itself, but I simply think there are to many people on the world that simply don't play by the rules of their book. That's why I think the world would be much better of without any form of religion at all. And yes, I know that you will dissagree with me, and I know your a believer, and I'm totally fine with that.

But there are loads of wars caused by religion.. (or "races" like jews, ethnic bosnians (muslims), etc)
If all of those people would be atheist, it would've been atleast 1 less stress point to cause a conflict.

These Islamic radicals are the most dangerous people. They are not pious or conscientious.
So they cannot be religious in the Theological sense of the word. The most important concept
of religion in Christian Tradition is of moral virtue and moral justice toward God the Creator.

Stalin, Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden.

So what your trying to tell me is that Saddam Hussein was a religious guy?

Are you going to try and tell me yes because of little bit of brainwashing here and there
a little bit of this behind the ears justification of nine-eleven. Did you see the guys leg nearly severed in the video?

That's the definition of Insanity, Not Religion.
These are not men of conscience therefore not religious or Holy Men.

Misguided approach does not equal = causality of any conflict.

They shout that stuff yes... but get a bullet in the head right were it belongs.
Two just wars are stilling being fought by the United States and dozens of other countries against godless men, not religious men.

After I looked over this post again I think I see what the confusion is -- choice of words.
I spoke about this type of ideology in my previous post.

I wrote about the concept of Religious Extremism under the Inquisition post.

But there is no such thing as an "extremist being a religious person," as Cracker wrote. You can't justify that by saying the guy was brainwashed in the desert. That is a fallacy and illogical as I mentioned above.

By the way you mentioned that the PLO are the terrorists ( because they wanted their own land??? hmmmm) maybe in the 60's but they don't control anything in Palestine anymore. The PNA only control the northern part of Palestine and are pro western (FATAH).The ones that are "hardcore" are HAMAS which controls Gaza.

Cracker - I'm not trying to beat a dead horse. I think you mean well. But under your logic this is exactly what you've implied.

Of course Hussein was a bad dude who raised the Koran during his trial. That doesn't make him righteous.
Therefore, not religious {by the proper use of the word). Evil, more likely; a deceiver. We talked about Religious Extremism above.

I think your starting to see my point. And I see yours. I respect your view. Perhaps this all boils down
to semantics and can be somewhat confusing.

But we know that three major religions are not a catalyst for starting war. A terrorist is a terrorist.
We can't scorn radicalism and say that's religion - it isn't. Drug dealers more likely.

So if they weren't religious, they wouldn't have had a claim on that land, and there wouldn't be any problem at all..

So both parties there are simply fueled by religious problems with eachother, and it's only making the situation worse around there
