there are a few sold off bunkers here in scotland ,they were used as the SSIN(secure survivable integrated network) this buildings had a surface floor and a further 2 floors under ground, all had borehole water with filtering ,power gen and full comms. they were sold off a few years ago for $120,000.cheaper than the average house.they had a front door to die for  8inches thick and 4 big locks.

That's what is currently on the market in terms of either commercial or decommissioned military bunkers.

In terms of something you can more easily afford and can place where ever you have room:

sodjer, was the SSIN anything like AT&T's AUTODIN, AUTOVON, and COMLOGNET? This link has info on all of these U.S. systems and there are remains of them in my area here in western MA. http://coldwar-c4i.net/ check it out! :D
