there are a few sold off bunkers here in scotland ,they were used as the SSIN(secure survivable integrated network) this buildings had a surface floor and a further 2 floors under ground,all had borehole water with filtering ,power gen and full comms. they were sold off a few years ago for $120,000.cheaper than the average house.they had a front door to die for
8inches thick and 4 big locks.

sodjer, was the SSIN anything like AT&T's AUTODIN, AUTOVON, and COMLOGNET? This link has info on all of these U.S. systems and there are remains of them in my area here in western MA. http://coldwar-c4i.net/ check it out!
