Military offroad trip
Military offroad trip
We did yesterday a little off road trip with 14 vehicles:
Had a couple of rations with me, but no need to eat any, we found a nice restaurant:

Waaaay cool video housil! I'm curious, did you people pass by any kind of cold war bunker sites? Some of the scenery looked like the perfect place to hide that stuff back in the day.

Actually "Wiener Schnitzel" must(!) be made from veal, if it´s made from pork it´s only allowed to be called "Schnitzel, Wiener style". That one with gravy and mushrooms is called "Jäger Schnitzer" (usually not coated) means "Hunter Schnitzel". Don´t ask me why
Next to my parents and the place I grew up was that NATO communications bunker:rationtin440 wrote: did you people pass by any kind of cold war bunker sites?

nice, thanks for sharing!
In fact, in France also "chasseur" ("hunter") in a meal name means "with mushroom".

Thanks for reply housil! BTW if you are interested, here is a link to cold war stuff here in the U.S. not sure if I already posted this or not. http://coldwar-c4i.net and in my neck of the woods, http://coldwar-ma.com Also I'm curious, are you a reservist or strictly civilian now?

Me in person?rationtin440 wrote: Also I'm curious, are you a reservist or strictly civilian now?
I´m a reservist but due to all the cut downs most of reservist duty is volunteer. Only if the German Army needs especially you due to your very special skills and knowledge they "draft" you back into active duty as an replacement for an regular active soldier that got his deployment.
