Not sure what the actual name is. What I do know is that it is the standard IRP issued to the Russian troops.

TechManDan - One more stupid question: What's the name of the ration with star on it?

The writing under the star reads "Russian Army".

Yep, the one with the star is the regular-issue one for the Russian Army. The one in the camo plastic covering meant for MVD forces (internal troops such as border guards, etc.). I've also been told by sources in Russia that depending on logistical needs, it is possible for the army to be issued the MVD rations, and vice-versa, so it's not a hard rule that one ration is only for one branch. Hope this helps!

Yeah, Russian IRPs are really nice; you gotta like meat, but hey, that's a plus in my book :D
By the way, yes, the camo packaged ones are for MVD/Rosgvardia, the ones with the star for the army, and there's a third type, packaged in blue plastic, which is aimed at the MChS (ministry of extreme situations, that regroups firefighters, deals with earthquakes, collapses etc) but, if I'm not mistaken, has sometimes been issued to MVD guys. And of course there's the winter/mountain ration, but I haven't been able to lay my hands on one of these already.
