My first French ration turned out to be a very pleasant experience (save for the weird coffee bar and surprisingly non-gourmet isotonic beverage).
Also, as I mentioned in another thread, it got quite lengthy. However I hope that's just the way it is with the first ration of a certain type or from a certain country.

You do great work, I wouldn't worry about the length of the videos too much. If the content is good then I find I won't get bored at all.

Re: French RCIR - Menu 4
The French need to work on the drinks, I've had 2 RCIRs and both isotonic drink were made and poured away, the mint flavour was terrible, the orange was just bad, both were just weak/bland flavoured but salty and sweet at the same time.
Re: French RCIR - Menu 4
Tried my first RCIR yesterday. The main (sausage in spicy sauce with rice) was one of the best things I've had out of a can. The drink was a big dissapointment .
Going to try and work my way through other countries before coming home and trying US MREs.

The isotonic drinks I had (lemon, mint) from RCIRs were with high amount of salt, so it tasted like salty water with a little bit of flavour. But the main meals were not salty at all and I had to add salt and pepper
