In my local base commissary yesterday, I noticed that the price of a new, current issue MRE is now $9.07, up about fifty cents from last year. I didn't check the TOTM price, but they're probably up as well. Last year they were $4.69 so now they're probably right at $5.
That brings the case price of MREs to $108.84 and TOTM about $60.

Too bad we can't go back to the late '70's. Cases of MCI's at commissary was $15.51.
