Cases aplenty

Just got back from Knob Creek Range (KCR) and there was a vendor there with plenty of '06 packed cases Wornick, Ameriqual for $40/ and no shipping!. No heat distress apparent. Picked up a few. Gives me a chance to break open some '04s.

Sounds like a great deal - especially the "no shipping" part.
"Cases aplenty" is definitely the motto for MREs these days. Since the past couple of hurricane years have been a bust, prices on eBay are finally back to where they were four years ago. Cases there seem to be going for $36-$45 dollars with (finally!) actual shipping and not much of this $25-$30 flat-rate shipping.
My advice...stock up now! All it'll takes is one bad hurricane hit and prices will go back up to $80/case.
