Singaporean noodles

Post by dan » Thu Aug 31, 2017 10:33 am

Hello everybody,

I just joined the forum a few days ago and I'm thrilled.

I have recently ordered a Singaporean 24 hour ration plus a separate accessory packet, but I have learnt that they come in three parts, with the third part being a package of instant noodles. Does anyone here have an idea about where I could find out more about the noodles, are they in military or civilian packaging, if civilian then which brand, where can I find out more about them and maybe purchase it...?

Thanks in advance!

As far back as I can remember the included menu paper always stated Assorted instant noodles (packed separately).

When I was serving they issued us Maggi brand chicken flavor instant noodles: but somewhere in my picture archives there's a official picture of rations which depicts koka brand noodles

When in doubt follow the official line: if u search my past posts I've made lots of posts concerning Singapore rations and the most recent one I made showed Maggi brand noodles

The oldest menu paper in my collection says instant noodles include chicken, shrimp and curry flavor but from my service memories: the entire battalion only got issued chicken flavor. Make of that what you will :)
