Cold Weather Rations For Camping.

Post by Simon2002mre »

Does anybody have any Cold Weather MREs they would be willing to sell? I want so badly to try them on my upcoming camping trip.
If so just lemme know, have a good one!

Check eBay

Cold weather mre's don't exist per say
But meal cold weathers do which are basically mountain house meals in milspec packages

Best of beef stroganoff and spaghetti hands down.

Hey Simon, I gotcha for a Cold Weather MRE - send me a PM and I'll hook you up with one of my extras. It has a chocolate covered cookie in it. :)
Got an extra beef stroganoff I'll throw in too - I was never much of a fan of that one.

Also, Wats has them for sale I think. Also check with stayCOLD87, he may still have some left.

This is THE greatest forum in mankind. Simply blown away by the generosity of our members and the willingness to help is amazing. For instance my thread on my B-I-L tackling the Appalachian Trail... the suggestions/resources supplied by you cats is beyond awesome!

Great job steve1989!

That was a really nice gesture towards Simon! Hope he enjoys it as much as I have!

Simon

The MCW's are great
Now I recommend that you keep them whole if you do take them camping cause the extra little goodies like the CCC are worth the wait!

I've got some MCW's on eBay for 20.75 ea or 6 for $99 delivered. I'd do a forum discount if anybody was interested in skipping ebay. I'd also be interested in trades for interesting non-US meals or maybe for some FirstStrikes.

Edit to add, my personal favorites are the Seafood Chowder and the Turkey Tetrazini. I use them for hunting, fishing, and camping.
