As I wanted to figure out, how good 10 years old FRH still work, I used one "plain", the other one I "tuned" with the salt from the accessory pack Now "cook" them for 10 min. The pork rib reached 125F (51°C) The corn bread stuffing with the salted water "just" 118F (48°C) So no evidence that salt will boost a weak FRH
Dessert I opened a 2005 spiced apples No sign of age nor any bad taste even after 12 years of storage I had a great, 10 - 12 years old dinner what I really enjoyed also the cake
