I got some civilian mres made form The Military Ration Co.;their mres are not as good or have as much as the sopacko/wormick ones; are they actually contractors of the military ones?

I haven't heard of that company before. Do you have any pictures of the MREs and/or the case?

I googled for that company name and the only hit I found was from this ebay auction:

It looks like The Military Ration Company produced at least one side item, Western Beans. But that's all I could find. Anyone else seen this?

Yes thats the one I got. I do not like it as much as the others I tried.

If that's the one you have, then I'd say those are definitely someone's home-grown MREs - they just bought some entrees and sides and put them in an MRE-bag and sealed it.

It was for sale in cases or individuals from the case and i bought 1 just to see how it was.
