I have eaten the 2 freeze dried ice cream dessert offerings from Mountain House. It starts crunchy and airy like the filling in a Cadbury Crunchie candy bar and sort of melts in to your palette. I enjoyed them.

Interesting article. I still like it though

It makes a nice sweet snack or desert while out on a hike or camping. I've had the freeze-dried ice cream sandwiches as well, which are pretty good too IMO.

Just had a packet last night that's been in my closet for about 5 years. Better than I remembered them
