Has any one tried any of the dehydrated foods from

backpackerspantry.com

I was in Academy sporting goods today looking at the Mountain House foods when I saw the backpackers pantry foods. They looked too be a little cheaper than Mountain House. The meals they had at Academy were two person entrees. They had breakfast entrees, dinner entrees and desserts and snacks. The breakfast entrees were only $2.99 a piece.
The dinner entrees were around $3.99 to $5.99. I picked up a breakfast juevos ranchero and a dinner turkey stroganoff. I'm going to try them this weekend.

I checked out the website and they have not only the 2 person entrees, they also have four person entrees and four person full meals along with other items. So check it out and see what you think :D

These are the meals that I remember seeing at Academy Sports today!

Stroganoff with Turkey
Beef Stew
Chicken and Rice
Chicken and Dumplings
Wild West Chili
Louisiana Red Beans and Rice
Spaghetti and Sauce
Chili Mac With Beef
Scrambled Eggs
Scrambled Eggs with Bacon Bits
Huevos Rancheros
Hot Apple Cobbler
Chocolate Smores

After looking at backpackers pantry's website these appear to be the lower priced items. The prices on these seem to be a little lower on their website. I hoped this helped anyone who's interested :D :D

I haven't tried the BackpackersPantry meals myself, but I seem to recall seeing them in a sporting store some time ago. If I recall correctly, there were a bit more expensive than the Mountain House entrees but at least the menus seemed to be a change from Spaghetti or Beef Stroganoff.
