Looking for Dutch 24hr Ration

Post by steve1989 » Thu Nov 26, 2015 4:00 pm

Hey guys, I am looking for one of these: http://www.mreinfo.com/international-ra ... at-ration/

I am looking for the one in the cardboard box with that little pac-man looking symbol on the side. I had gotten one from rebraunjr back in July 2013 and sadly I never took proper photos when I enjoyed it. It was one of my personal favorites and I would pay good $ for one if I could get it again.

I would do trade too.

The one I had was a 2009 DoP and EXP of 2012 - I would be perfectly happy with another 2009 one or even slightly older or newer.

I will provide a picture of the box and menu list of the one I enjoyed - if someone has the exact same one that I had previously, I would pay even more.

Thank you so much!

-Steve

Hello,

The exact same is really easy, as we only get one menu  . The only difference between them is some different manufacturers. Sadly everything ration seems to have exploded in price here, and even the really common arctic ration is $50+.

Hey there, Unimproved - I hadn't realized you only got the one menu! Oh wow it was my favorite Ration and i cannot believe I'd not taken pictures with it. For some reason, I'd figured finding another wouldn't be too hard but it has.

Well, if you ever come across one of these things and get a price PM me, I would be willing to pay an amount that would be worth your time and efforts on locating and securing one. It was a fantastic memory enjoying the one I had back in August 2013, and right after eating it I had a life epiphany of going back to school to get my high school diploma. Kinda silly - but Rations have always been a huge driving inspiration to me - a strange passion that has never gone away after all these years. If anything it only gets stronger by the day!

So lemme know if you ever locate one and I would do a generous trade or money offer for it!

And I'm really sorry to hear about Ration prices going up like that over there :( - I wonder what is doing it?

Actually the rations doesn´t come with any entree:

The entrees come in an extra case and get handed out separately. So I have no idea why these rations get outbid so high?!

I've managed to find an entree in my own stuff, but still no main ration. I'll keep looking.

These seem to be the "Lange Afstands Verkenning" rations. Kinda like a FSR but without the good parts. The artic ones contain 4 bags of travellunch.

I found some of the main meals on a British Surplus site however, they sold out in 24 hours. TS for me, TS for you.
