Thai ration "Chicken Yellow Curry"

Post by laughing_man »

I ate Thai ration after a long interval.
A menu is the Chicken Yellow Curry.

The rice of Thailand doesn't have stickiness and is a scent like jasmine tea.

Yellow curry is spicy, and it's sweet and very delicious.
Fish sauce and red pepper are attached to it.
However, I didn't need them...

And small dried fruit is contained.

That looks like a pretty flavorful meal!

Very neat, and thankyou for sharing, Laughing_man! :D

Those little dried fruit squares look tasty, but the kinda thing that maybe gets stuck in your teeth. Were they very sticky like I'm assuming? hehe

That is neat spoon that they give you.. looks like a spoon for Wonton Soup.

I assume it was pretty flavorful considering you did not need the spice pack.

Absolutely fascinating - I love the unusual stuff like this.. makes me hungry!

I really like fish sauce - at one point in my ever exciting life I dated a Laos girl.. she was a fantastic cook (and a nice girl!). She used fish sauce in one meal and I remember how nice it was.. memories!!  :D

The rice had a nice botanical Jasmine Tea scent? Sounds delicious.

Very nice - I can imagine this meal and it really makes my day. Thankyou so much for sharing!

Curry is very delicious :!:
Although Thai curry differs from Japanese curry, it is wonderful similarly. :D

Thai ration has less quantity than Japanese ration.
And it has a hallal mark. 4% is a Muslim although most Thailand people are Buddhists.

I think that that dried fruit is a papaya.
However, that true character is unknown. :D

It became very salty when fish sauce was added to curry.
It may be wonderful if it is after many sweating.

I think that the food of Southeast Asia is wonderful.
A Vietnamese food is favorite although I have not tried the food of Laos.

Nice review thank you

I am interested in these type of rice based meals because of their compactness,
Are these meals ready to eat or do they need have boiling water added?

These meals are ready to eat. Rice is soft.
Though regrettable, this ration doesn't have a heater. However, it's more delicious if they are warmed :D
