Slow load times here???

Post by rattattoo »

Is it just me, or my provider, or are page-load times here on MRE Info really dragging in the last few days?

Hey guys - quick update here...

I contacted my webhosting provider. There does seem to be a problem somewhere (something to do with server load, memory usage, etc.) and I'm working on tracking it down. A few weeks ago, they made me upgrade the backend software (php) to a new version and that sort of thing usually causes *some* error somewhere. I thought we had the minor errors fixed but it looks like there are even more out there. It might take a few days to get it all straightened out so thanks ahead of time for your patience...which you'll need for those 20 second page loads. :-)

The site seems to be back to normal this morning Kman. I know sometimes these things can fluctuate so here's hoping that we're out of the woods and not just in the eye of the storm
