Rib-shaped Pork Patty TOTM

Having recovered (mostly) from a horrible three-week cold or flu, I went fishing again yesterday. The menu special at Cafe Kayak was a 2013-issue Rib-Shaped Pork Patty in BBQ sauce TOTM. To display the contents, I opened the pealable seal bag and shot this photo:

As you can see, this TOTM left out the usual packet of crackers in favor of pretzels, and also included an extra item in the form of Zapplesauce. For my trip, I elected to re-substitute a pack of crackers for the pretzels and also swapped a pack of lemon-lime drink powder for the cappuccino.
On the water, I heated the entree using the FRH and mixed the cold drink. The Zapplesauce was tasty and not as sweet as I had thought, considering it is "spiked" with extra sugar for energy. The pork patty was only vaguely "rib-shaped" and lacked the fake grill markings of a commercial McRib. The sauce was almost clear and sweet, not very smoky or tomato-y. I was glad I had taken along some crackers, because I crumbled up one of them to soak up the sauce. You can see the patty and sauce here:
Until next time, here's smilin' at ya from Cafe Kayak
