RCIR Beef Salad surprise

Being lazy today I didn't cook. I grabbed a Beef Salad entree from a Menu 14 RCIR. I have had Beef Salad before and I liked it. Lots of tomato sauce and tasty beef...that's why I saved this entree. I didn't read the ingredients I thought it's the same dish.
It is not :)

First one looked like this:

Today I had this one:
Looked much like the "Pork Salad" entree I also had last year or so.

It wasn't bad. A bit oily and not spicy at all. The flavor of veggies were dominant and the beef was nice. I would give it 3 points of 5.The "old" version was definitely better in my opinion. I ate it cold and I didn't use the salt and pepper this time. Heating it and adding salt and pepper would have improved it...

Ingredients:

Old one:

"New" one:

I don't speak French.Who can help me?Is there a difference between "Boeuf en Salade" and "Boeuf Salad"?

Here are the two boxes:

First one. Best before April 02, 2013:

Second one.Best before Mai 16, 2014:

One more question. When are the menus changed? Is there a special date when they change the menus?

My french speaking co-worker indicates exactly what you have discovered: Salade alone means "chopped" whereas En Salade means "in a salad".

Thank You Apocalypse.
It was misleading because on the menu list "Boeuf en Salade" is written on both boxes.
