On to Cooking
- Entree Cold
- Dessert Cold
- Entree Hot, not much difference in appearance
- Dessert Hot, not much difference appearance wise also
- Big chunks of apple
- Side dry not sure what berries
- 4oz hot water added
- Quick re-hydration, the oatmeal was finely ground
Entree:
Good, needed the salt and pepper, filling no weird flavors. Nice bacon flavor. Only complaint its not crispy.
Dessert:
Didnt like, was ok, but weird spice in it, almost like UGR apple dessert
Side:
Very good and filling, smooth texture with berries mixed in, 1/2 cup of water was just right.
The rest i didnt photograph, as they are pretty standard imp items. But it was all good, except the spice of the dessert

X-L-ENT job!
Wish we had that entree here, in fact. There simply aren't enough breakfast menus in the MRE lineup.

I had this same breakfast item two weeks ago. I ate all cold, near freezing, as I was in a hurry to break camp. I'm sure it would have been better warm but it wasn't bad cold.
