Ahoy there MRE fans!
My names Jon Lopez and I'm a major MRE fan.....there's always a case in the house, on the go....been into MREs for about 3 years now but been into military kit for most of the 27 years I've been alive.
I'm a military reinactor (Vietnam War) and team captain of an airsoft team(link in my sig- your welcome to join our forums)- I've got about £6,000 of US gear and BDUs in the 'gun room' in the top of the house that dates from 1960 all the way through to the current issue MARPAT gear.
I used to 'lab rat' for UK MOD and I'm a Senior Quality Engineer with a Honours Degree in materials science, which pays the bills rather well!
I'm seriously into: Riding big performance bikes, Engineering, MAterials Science, Biology, the writings of Machiavelli, Proper lager and loud metal....
