Snow place like western MA!

Well here we are again with a winter storm pounding away at us and of course the snow plows are kinda not really keeping up with it very well at all. Salt is of course an environmental hazard so we have to make up for it with extra sand. Kind of ironic also is that in my area, we have a couple of roads that were the very first ones kept completely plowed and sanded/salted back about 35 years ago during the cold war (one of them was an emergency runway/staging area for F-1-1 Voodoos and F-104 Starfighters, while the other lead to an AT&T AUTOVON Switching Center), but now, even though there are houses and businesses on both roads, they've lost their priority over the years and people living and working in the area get pretty irate. Oh well this is new england.
