32 Year Old Dried Eggs

Post by Name_not_found »

During Hurricane Sandy i had some time once it got dark to check out some old supplies in the cabinet.

I found a few things i had long forgotten about, this is the first item i tried.

Egg Mix, A Dried Product

These were part of a government program in the 70's 80's that provided surplus items to the public.

This one appears to be made in 1980 which fits what i remember

A peek inside, everything looks fine, smells fine.

Cooking instructions

We made them up as per the directions, they weren't bad, not great, but not bad scrambled eggs.
Salt and pepper helped
(camera died no finished pic)
