Sandy and HAARP, any thoughts?
For those here in forums who might not know this, many conspiracy theorists are quick to blame HAARP (High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Project) for the bizarre weather-----including Hurricane Sandy-----that we occasionally get around the U.S. and the rest of the world, although more so over the past few years. The HAARP system basically bombards the ionosphere with extremely high energy at high frequency to determine its effects on communications and many people believe that this action inevitably affects the jet stream and our weather. Both of these effects would have obvious military applications, and I'm curious what folks here in forums think of this, especially anyone who knows alot about meteorology and physics.

Ah yes, the pollution issue! I could talk for hours on that subject housil, lol! Not only that but chem-trails and all kinds of stuff. My view is that since alot of this stuff was started during the cold war, rather than waste the research, the folks who did it are seeing what other things they can do with it.
Re: Sandy and HAARP, any thoughts?
There are so many things on this planet we cannot explain. This year have been unusually hot. That means increasing seawater temperature. The warmer the water is the stronger the hurricans will be.It's a fact.
BUT. I don't believe the official Air Force propaganda about HAARP.There are many many strange things going on everywhere on a daily basis.I've researching this topic (and many others) for years. My conclusion is: It's better if you don't go into these searchings too deep. You go crazy. Knowledge is power (as the saying goes) but it can also be a burden. After years of reading, searching, watching videos I've become a bit sceptic.I don't believe anything without asking questions and thorough examination.
Whenever a natural disaster happens somewhere rumors start circulating about HAARP.Whatever the case is we can't do anything against it without joining people. And it's very very unlikely.
If only 10% of the conspiration theories were real that would be...I don't find the words...inhuman.
There are many good questions and too many stupid "official" answers from the authorities.
That is my opinion.

Thanks for sharing your views Woodland. You're right, it is not a good idea to delve into these things too deeply, and I've learned over the years that there are some pretty evil people in places of high power, so I guess we just need to keep in mind that this stuff exists and try to live without letting it frighten us. When I was first in the military during the 1980s, I heard rumors about psychic warfare research and how the pentagon was trying to train "psychic assassins" to kill targets in their sleep from thousands of miles away, but the idea was so frightening that I tried not to dwell on it. In my mind there will always be evil people trying to manipulate science and physics for their own ends but if we let this understanding frighten us, then we forget how to live. Just my $.02

Re: Sandy and HAARP, any thoughts?
One can hardly imagine how evil or malevolent people can be.Especialy the ruling "elite". Some information is useful to know. You don't believe what they want you to believe in the news for instance because you know they are lying.Last example is the latest BSE case in California. The authorities (USDA) don't seem to be bothered with people's health. They only test 1 cattle out of every 100 thousand and they stamp the food with "USDA Inspected, Passed".In Europe every cow will be tested beyond a certain age or before slaughtering. This is just one example..Re: Sandy and HAARP, any thoughts?

I don't want to talk about my political views...
As for psycho warfare...using ultrasound or infrasound they can change your emotional or even mental state...
How was in the army that time? I like stories from that era (Cold War)..It's interesting to see that when I grew up (1980-ies) we were enemies and now..

Re: Sandy and HAARP, any thoughts?
Thanks for reply Woodland! I'm very glad that our countries are no longer enemies, too much to share with our cultures and all. I enjoyed my military time mainly because I was a combat medic and ambulance crewman. In desert storm my unit treated more Iraqi soldiers than American or allied because of where we were located. Myself and most of the members of my medical unit had the mindset that if we treated any wounded enemy soldier, whether an Iraqi or a Soviet Spetsnaz member, the way we'd like our wounded soldiers to be treated by them, they might see that we really are human----and it certainly would not hurt in the propaganda war.
Besides, killing is easy, it takes great skill to mend and treat injuries. As for the psychic warfare stuff, it is hard to know what to believe and Hollywood certainly likes to muck things up with movies like "Dreamscape" and "Men Who Stare at Goats."

Re: Sandy and HAARP, any thoughts?
Thanks NNF! Kinda like a coast-to-coast am with George Noory?! lol! I could discuss stuff like "the science of Stephen King" and how "the Arrowhead Project" could really do what it did in "the Mist." Actally that particular story is one thing that always made me curious, my brother-in-law thinks that a malfunction of a super-collider because he is a physicist and can't discuss alot of what he does, but anyway, lol!
Re: Sandy and HAARP, any thoughts?
That Stephen King novel is one of my favourites. The other one is "The Stand" (brilliant) and there is another one it plays on some island during a winter storm...
