Let the tasting begin!

- Soup and Rabbit Pate cooked on the go

- Soup looks fine, smells good

- Stove lit and ready to go

- Soup cooking

- Rabbit pate with salty crackers while the soup cooks

- Looks similar to other canned pate/spreads of other rations. The meat with gelatin is intimidating at first, but after sampling many just like this i now expect good things from this type of can.

- On cracker

- Close up

- First few bites in, very good, rich flavor, spreads well on the crackers. It was sweeter than i expected, not like roasted rabbit at all, more like a sweet spam with less fat and rabbit instead of pork flavor

- Soup is ready, thick, smooth texture to the broth, asparagus flavor, not over powering just right.
Great start to the ration, good crackers, good pate, good soup. Higher than average all around.
