Hi!
I also got a "normal" spanish ration by christmas.
This one was menu B2 Lunch.
Contents:
-1 Bag of vegetable soup
-1 Tin of meatballs with peas
-1 Tin of sardines in tomato sauce
-1 Tin of fruit cocktail in syrup
-1 Tin of pate
-2 Water purification tablets
-2 Hydrating tablets
-3 Solid combuatible tablets
-2 Energetic tablets
-1 Vitamin C tablet
-1 Chewing gum for dental hygiene
-1 Envelope of matches(20)
-1Bag with paper (10 sheets)
-1 Iformation sheet

I wonder were a soldier puts the pate on?
There were no crackers or stuff like that.

I tried the soup and the meatballs.
First the soup:

It was really good!
I also liked the "Croutons" in the soup.
Then the meatballs with peas:

That was not so good! :?
It tasted like the can.
I don´t really liked it.

This was the review of the spanish army ration.
Greetings
Brian

Actually this ration expired October 2008. If you had let me know I would have sent you a "normal" one :D

happy new year to all of you, folks.

It tasted like the can.
If canned food taste "metallic", the acid from the food reacted with the cans inside surface.
It seems 2012 is too long for a Spanish 2008 expired can. :?
