First of all my apologies in advance because I realize that this may be a sensitive subject. That being said,
http://www.infowars.com/feds-send-terro ... lus-stores is a link that I found to be a bit concerning for reasons that hopefully will be clear to anyone reading it. This made me wonder about the policies and laws of other forum members countries, such as UK, Germany, Japan, and others. Are you folks allowed by law to purchase surplus items from stores or do you have regulations which limit what you can buy? Anyone's thoughts on this concept are welcome as well.

i can buy any surplus from around the world but not firearms.
from the norwegian army we can buy trucks, clothing and so on but only in large
numbers.like sleeping bags you have to buy like 1000 each
trucks are sold to the higest bidder so they are not cheap.
armored trucks and tracked armor are normaly chopped up for scrap
cheers ken,norway

Thanks for reply norge! Our prayers are with your nation for the terrible events of recent days. Here in America, while certain groups love to use tragedies like that to push for more tyrannical laws, at least we are still able to buy surplus vehicles and pretty much any kind of equipment, for now.

In Germany we can buy everything - except weapons.
The German authoreties have auctions where they sell all their cars like police, EMS, Army, fire department etc...
http://www.vebeg.de/web/en/auktionen/index.htm
This is where car dealers buy them, restore them and sale them again (and I bought mine one)
It is just not allowed to "walk around" in any uniform and make peoples believing you are some one officialy and doing official duties(color of office). I even have fuly NBC-equipment etc.
Military parkers like Bundeswehr and M-65 are *very* popular over here and nobody cares if you wear them even with all decales, ranks etc.
