Hungarian Rations No 5 & 6

I ran across two Hungarian rations I never saw once before:



I found a ->Hungarian blog<- with details and pic´s about the content

The only hungarian word I know is "goulash", so I used Google translater for the printing.
Maybe we have a member that can give us a better translation?

Thats what I was thinking.
Is that translation literal "liver and meat cream"?
Just does not sound overly appetizing.. Better yet, what is meat cream exactly?
I wonder if it should be more of "liver meat with cream sauce?
I am going to ask a few friends about this.

Interesting that the Hungarian rations don't appear to contain anywhere near the snack and dessert high carb/ sweet items that western rations have or as I like to call them, "edible morale boosters."

Here's a curious fact, those outer bags defintiely look like the older dark brown MRE bags.

májkrém (liver pate?) = yes its a pate , someting like this : http://www.flagmagazin.hu/userfiles/text/maxi_1.jpg Same as the French eat. But its a lowcost thing here.

The contains in theese rations are able to buy in all shops ... They are not made for military use. I think a company ( called SzilasFOOD Ltd) buys thing from different civilian food productors/traders and take 'em to theese 'old look MRE's' plastick bags. In Central/East Europe I found the companies use everyday civil products to their rations. The components are usually made by different companies and able to buy in the shop next door ...
