Yesterday we had for lunch on duty:
View into open pouch
Add hot water
We got two plates of a very delicious vegi dish, just had to add a dash of salt. Our biggest surpries was the perfect texture of the vegetables, not "slushy"

To me, she doesn´t seem "unlucky"
with her rationed food

That stuff looks very good and filling. housil have you ever tried the Gorp from Mountain House? It is a combination of carob chips, nuts, raisins and a couple other things, sort of a glorified trail mix. Sorry to go off topic here, but a buddy of mine who worked for AT&T during the 1980s told me that they had Mountain House canned and pouched rations, including Gorp, at the underground "project office"
http://coldwar-c4i.net that he worked at. Mountain House is a leading supplier here in the US for emergency bunkers and related facilities.

I have to say the vegetables look great in the powdered picture. Especially the green one. (Ad first I thought it was brocolli on my small screen) But I just have to say, the end result looks something that comes gushing out of an person with alcohol poisoning..
Looking at the ingredients and the looks of them, I must agree that the food must be of decent quality, mostly resulting in a good taste aswell. Nice pictures.
