evolution of beef franks and ham slice

since im home i have time to look in my ration collection :D

and i was looking specialy at the ham slice and beef franks this time.
here are some pictures of the different packing and producers.
i dont remember al the dates on them but theyre from 1980s to 1992-3

next up is turkey and beef menues,specialy from the 1980s.


btw gott my blood results today,and nothings is wrong there so its a heart thing...
will know more on monday,new b presure test and probably medecine of some sort.

Nice idea and pics, norge :D :D ! I guess I have more types in my basement, will check that soon and post some photos! The Ham Slices taste always fine! The Frankfurters I did not really like, brrrr.........! :lol:

yep a bit according to the doctor,but i think it shouldnt be a problem :D

I searched quickly for another type of HAM SLICES, that one was packed 1127 (07. May 1981) with nice, precious printing on inner pouch :D :

nice :D i dont have that one. there must be a lot of different types made from the 1980 until they
stopped making them.

when checking the the old mci menues with the first mre menues
theyre pretty close on the menues.

now we nee to gett our selfs a prototype mre (cardboard box mre) for the collections :D :D
but i gues those are realy hard to come by.... :(

STERLING BAKERY; Date Code 20 3 1, I guess that means 20. March 1981
STERLING BAKERY; Date Code 2102, I guess that means 12. April 1982
