Hey Guys!
I received my new shipment of MREs today, so I had to try out this one since I've never had it before.....
Menu 24 - Buffalo Chicken - Sopakco
Here's the goods:
Buffalo Chicken - pulled
Fried Rice
Wheat snack bread
Patriotic Cookies
Reeses Pieces
Mocha Cappuccino powder
Cheese Spread w/ jalapenos
accessory packet with tea mix -- no matches
spoon strong enough to gouge a man's eyes out
FRH
I heated the chicken and the rice up with the FRH. I won't eat any MREs cold if I can help it!
Accessory packet: NO MATCHES!
Buffalo Chicken:
The chicken was good. very tasty. every bite, i had some shreds of chicken.
It was spicy, but not too spicy, and not in a bad way at all.
Fried Rice was kinda bland. a little mushy, but not horrible. Incredibly filling tho, and that sneaks up on you.
I didn't open the reeses peices, or the drink mix or the cookies because A) I've had them before and B) I was stuffed. That rice is incredibly filling!
All and All, this one was pretty good. I was a little let down by the rice, but it wasn't that bad.
I think it needs something else instead of the wheat snack bread. I think that would have made it taste really weird.
