Five Guys rule! When Mrs. Kman and I first went there, we made the mistake of each getting a large french fry - that's like 2 pounds of french fries each! Here's how they package a "small fry" - they take a regular-sized styrofoam cup and fill it full of fries. Then they put that cup in a lunch-bag-sized brown paper bag. Then they fill up that brown bag the rest of the way with fries. And that's just the small.

The burgers themselves are also great! But with the 2lbs of french fries to eat, I've taken to just ordering the "Junior Cheeseburger" because even that is more than enough to fill me up.

My advice...run, do not walk, to your nearest Five Guys to try them out. Yes, definitely run...you're going to need the exercise to help keep all that grease and fat from stopping your heart. :-)

They've got several in and around NYC. I'll have to check them out. They don't do advertising. Guess they don't need to.

Here's my Burger recommendation if you're in NYC: Jackson Hole.
Last time I was in them I can say that not
all locations are the same. The best one to visit is
on 2nd Avenue and 84th Street. Of course, order a burger.

Found one of these grease joints here in Long Beach. Think I'll stop bye and pick up a few of these burgers and fries over the summer.

I still can't figure out why Americans like burgerjoints that much :?
I only eat burgers / taco's /chickenwings when I'm really desperate for a meal.. like on my way on the highway, for miles and miles..

In the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium we have a lot more small snackstores.. that sell fries with some snacks instead of only burgers etc.. You simply buy a plate with some fries, and a snack.. instead of some burgers..

Or in Germany you simply get some sausage with sauce and a little bread bun..

Muuuch better then those greasy burgers.

And yes, our snacks are very fat aswell.. but we don't eat a full snack menu ;)

I can't eat McDonalds or Burgerking food 2 days after eachother.. Because I get bored with the taste after 1 burger..
And I have to admit.. they have nice desserts.. but burgers are very unpractical to eat (to thick and large)

I will come to America one day.. and I'll sell Bitterballs.. Bitterballs from Holland! Or Frikandel.. Or Bamischijf.. Or mexicanos.. Or Gehaktstaaf.. Or Kaassouflé.. And maybe some German Bratwurst, Currywurst and Bayrische Knödel.. after EPA and Housil perfected these three ofcourse.

That'll be the end of the Burgerdynasty..

If you were ever to become an American and saw Elvis through a drive-thru than you'll understand.
