Patriotic Sugar Cookies

Post by DangerousDave »

Found this in a recently packed case. Unfortunately, this pack of cookies looks like it burned in from about 60 ft. I can make out:
US Flag
Liberty Face
Uncle Sam Face
Eagle
USA
Uncle Sam Top Hat
Eternal Flame(2 items at top center, that made it, I think thats what they are?)
:D

I just had a packet of these, myself. Some of mine were in a little bit better shape - but not by much:

Pulled a pack of these out of a 2013 Menu 23, i was actually impressed by them. Yes, they may have been crumbly, but they tasted good and had a light, crisp texture.

I'm kinda wondering how they would be crushed up and added to a pack of CherryBlueberry cobbler... :D

I was up at oh dark thirty today to watch the NASA launch - and had a pouch of PSCs (when you talk NASA, you speak in acronyms...) as my pre-breakfast. Mostly intact with just enough crumbles to make it worthwhile to tip my head back and rattle the pouch.

Cookie crumbles and cobbler, huh? Sounds amazing! Or squeeze in a packet of apple butter and eat with a spoon. Chocolate pudding with a crumble topping? Oh yeah...
