shape HDR cases

Howdy folks,

I was looking for some more info on the shape of the HDR cases. It kinda links to the topic: "shape of MRE cases".
I have 2 HDR cases, one with sleeve and one without the sleeve, the latter is newer and has the pink/salmon coloured HDR's. The case with sleeve had the yellow HDR's (unfortunately my case is empty).

here we go: are all yellow HDR's packed in the 'older' cases with sleeve? ANd thus the pink HDR's in the newer, sleeveless cases?
Maybe there are more possibillities, wrt HDR cases.
I was just curious.

I can't say for sure when they switched, but I do have a case of yellow HDRs in the regular (current) MRE case - just like your Salmon-colorded HDRs. The last time they used those flat cases was in 1994 - I didn't realize they had HDRs way back then. Do you have any pics of that Yellow HDR case?

they're fresh from the photocamera.
There is one thing about the case. I'm not 100% sure it had the yellow HDR's. Since it was a gift. It had only one yellow HDR in it. According to the person I gor it from it had more yellow HDR, but he ate them. Based on that info I assumed it contained the yellow HDR's. But any add. info is welcome.

That case looks just like my Yellow and Salmon HDR cases.

My case of salmon HDR's has the text "food gift from the people of the United States of America" on the side with the flag.

That's how my Salmon case looks, too. I just took some pictures of it but it'll take me a little longer to dig my Yellow HDR case out.

My salmon case of HDR's also has the wording....Food Gift but my Yellow case does not.
