I don't know yet, Tree. Might take a week or 2. You know how it was when the Israeli's took out the Syrian so-called Nuke site last year. Nobody knew about the hit, till the satt. pics showed up 2 months later. We'll see.

German t-online news said:

http://nachrichten.t-online.de/c/16/64/ ... 42606.html

...according to the private Syrian TV-Station "Al-Dunia" ( ) that at 17:45 four US helicopters hovered over at Al-Sukkarija 8km far from Iraq/Syrian border, two were landing. 8 soldiers should left the helicopters and started shooting, killing 9, injuring 14.

The Los Angeles Times also reported about that:

CNN Presents - War in Iraq - The Road to Baghdad

An Iraq "crowd" is gathered around a fountain, reporting people hold as hostages down in the water.
As "evidence", they shouted down and got some "answer" back...

...their own echo

We don't know the details of this actions, and I doubt if we will ever get to know the truth. Both sides are not well known to tell the truth.

But be sure, according to international law this is an act of war from one souvereign nation (US) against another souvereign nation (Syria). This can have grave consequences.

Oh, OK aquarius, since al-Qaida is not a nation, it's perfectly fine for them to hi-jack 4 Boeings, and fly them into various targets, killing thousands of civilian men, women and even a child or 2, but we can't hop over a border and grab a couple of al-qaida punk SOB's that thought they were safe. F*** Syria. :!: F*** Iran :!: 8) :D

Well, in the past we've seen French troops running after Algerian terrorists through the Tunisian border, US running after Viet Cong into Cambodia and...Israelis doing the same thing in Lebanon, that's the only case it really turned bad!
As long as nobody tries to bomb the Talibans hidden in a Pakistani village... (for sure this country is full of terrorists, islamic maniacs, etc. but when they got a nuclear bomb, nobody calls them "terrorist" but only "mister"

Well dangerousdave is right! Indeed terrosrist can do these things, but we as so called civilised states, can not. That's what separates them from us.
Non-lineair warfare for which we still have no other answer than bombing and shooting.
Of course I don't mind if some punck in Syria got his brains bombed out and his child also, however there are a couple of hundred of millions arabs and muslims who do care.
