Italian Combat Rations

Post by fdsman » Mon Oct 06, 2008 12:55 pm

I'm looking into purchasing an Italian ration, and I'm wondering if the Modules include all 3 meals or are there separate meals, under the same module? If that's not too clear, does the package contain all three meals or are there three separate packages with each meal. As well as that, do the B and F modules still contain that small shot of brandy?

-Thanks,

Be sure to check out the Italian rations pages here:

http://www.mreinfo.com/international/it ... tions.html

Especially the first part of the text on the page where it says:
Each meal bag contains three boxes - one for breakfast, one for lunch, and one for supper/dinner.
The 2007 menus on the same page also show the "Cordial" is still in there.

I can't find Italian MRE's anywhere... But I wonder if it is easy to get them if your in the country my family has a house in Italy so I could get TONS of their MRE's when I am over there I just need to ask the army surplus people there if they have em. Last time I was in an Italian surplus store I sadly saw no Italian MRE's :( Maybe in Rome.

The last year only a few italian rations were offerd on ebay in europe, never saw one at ebay italy.

so i think they are very hard to get, even in italy.

i have one, had to pay very much for it, but i wanted to have it.
