Couldn't agree more. The only exception I'd make is when someone is officially presented with a T-shirt, e.g. an exchange of gifts after an exercise or deployment. And I don't think this is true in Mr Obama's case. At least it's not the official Marine PT uniform.

Right. I can't understand why there have'nt been more responses to this thread. Theres no way this Marxist is going to be elected, I don't care what he says, does, looks like, etc.

DD and Baldy,
Boy what a staged photo OP this was!

As a former Marine myself I can tell you that it's not official PT wear but rather somebody else's idea of a putting Obama in a t-shirt and shorts and trying to make it look as if he hangs around with military folks. Did anybody catch the B-Ball players in the background? Looks like high school kids at B-Ball practice?

In his case the USMC stands for:
Universal
Socialist
Misguided
(presidential)Candidate
About the only thing he's qualified for IMO.

And I'll bet Obama bought AND brought the t shirts the kids are wearing.
Another Hollywood moment...

i have several of those SOFFE brand shirts that i proudly wear. i earned the right to wear the shirts. i have also presented many to other people who were never in the marines that loved the shirts. i dont feel disrespected with him wearing the shirt, he could just be honoring marines. his grand father or uncle or something was in the marines. so i have no issue with him wearing the shirt. what i do have an issue with is his relationship with a racsist pastor, his ties to a domestic terrorist (william ayres - weather underground), his socialist programs such as universal healthcare, the desire to remove troops from iraq prematurely, his obvious lies such as "i am the candidate of change and hope" then he picks biden as vp running mate. come on what kind of change is that. same all status quo crap that has been going on. here is my plan for change i tell as many people as i can. our politicians are ignoring the will of the american people. i say we vote for no incumbent in any election from the top all the way to local elections. when enough politicians get their ass booted out of office they will have no choice but to listen to the people. after all they rely on us to keep them there. some good people may be sacrificed for the good of country but oh well. just my opinion and i refuse to become negative and think our country is doomed. i still believe the USA is the greatest country in the world. i am confident that we will recover our economy and all will be well. but we need a political overhaul. not a doctrine overhaul just get people in office that will uphold and enforce the constitution and the bill of rights.

I can't ponder why universal healthcare is a bad thing. Please elaborate.
