Hmm, it could be funny when you're lying down in the mud with some guys shooting at you; you need to quickly reload and you can't manage to open the f… bag

Cool idea - but is that sealed bag going to also seal in moisture?

Yes, Kman, it will. Then one would be up S*** creek without a paddle. I think it would better to have everything "dry", before using them for that. LOL

Thats a great idea, I've got a few of them laying around, and it'd be nice to stick a few mags in them, couldn't hurt at least.

More likely, they may be using it to keep the sand out of the mags. I remember the disdain for the M16s back in the days of 'Nam when their reliability was questionable due to the environmental conditions. Seems the most popular thing to do back in those days was to try and get your hands on a M1A1 and ditch the Colt.

Reminds me of the 'Chieu Hoi' bags used in Vietnam.

I'd druther have my M14, thank you very much....
Actually, I started out with a 1903 Springfield in bootcamp, graduated to a M1 Garand, then on to the M14, and finally the M16A1.
Give me a M14 or a M60 anyday :D
