German POWs Eating C Rations During WW2

Here's a photo of German POWs eating C Rations behind American lines in Italy after getting captured during mountain fighting near Casino. They're eating M and B units from what looks to be 1943 DoP - lacquer coated cans.

Wasn't sure to reply on this or the other post but i decided this might be the most fitting one, even if not completely related.
But while looking at these photos it reminded me of something i ran across years ago while looking up info on Norwegian rations.
Here in Norway we were part of the Marshal aid program and there are a decent amount of pictures like this of kids, adults and even Sami people with cases of 10 in 1s, K rations and basically every type of us produced ration. Guess they dumped alot of them in Europe and other countries too after the war.

Can imagine the people recieving these after 4 years of nearly starving being really happy and loving these, especially the kids.
Anyway i don't own these pictures but i thought i might share them now that i remembered them:)
