Any videos of someone lighting the new Russian igniter coated fuel tabs?

The newer Russian rations have fuel tabs that have the igniter material put on the tabs themselves so all you need to do it rub the fuel tab across a striker pad to light them, no match necessary. Any videos out there of someone lighting one?

I have seen a video of one of them failing to light - lol. Guess there is a reason they include matches as well in the ration.

Found that video. He fails to light the tab on the striker, but I think that's because he made a simple mistake. He was dragging the edge of the disc across the striker pad instead of on the flat, thus very little of the igniter material was getting rubbed. Poor technique. I guess I'm just going to have to sacrifice and do it myself.

Not much left in my Russian ration after USDA went through it. Tried one of the Russian igniter coated fuel tabs. Lit easily on first try by rubbing along outer flat edge. Worked well.

I have a good pile of Russian striker ready fuel tabs, but haven't tried them yet, sorry.

They work great as long as you try to get as much surface contact with the igniter compound as you can on the first try. Too little and you will try and try again, each time losing more of the compound. I found them to be very handy.
