We have had discussions on some MRE components that should be avoided that was known to cause illness and some treatments are included.
I think the only cure for this IMP is an extra roll of toilet paper haha

I was wondering if the packaging system/method used by Canada might make illness a higher risk, then I remembered the violent reaction I had to the Turkey, Diced w/Gravy MRE many years ago, and how much better the packaging was. Not sure if the IMP packaging was necessarily an issue in this case with archapma-0, but just a thought----I believe that archapma-0 has been reviewing rations long enough that he'd be able to spot any issues with the packaging, so that leaves me wondering if it could have been an issue with how the IMP was stored before he received it.

As a fwiw, I don't recall any off-taste or smell from the Turkey, Diced w/Gravy MRE, which I guess could lead one to conclude that taste and smell are not the most reliable methods for determining if a ration is safe to consume.
