German EPa "Typ A" unknown ration
German EPa "Typ A" unknown ration
Hi all,
I recently stumbled upon this ration, an EPa "Typ A", on which I couldn't find any information.
As you know EPas are numbered in either roman or decimal numerals so you might understand why I'm at a loss here.
The seller was nice enough to send me the pictures in full resolution since unfortunately I was a bit late to the party and he sold it to somebody else. For €15.
Have a gander:
So does anybody know anything about this ration? Is it just the predecessor of the roman numeral EPa?
Thanks!

Wow, what an "ancient" find!
Yes, these were in use 1960 to 1970s. The beverage e.g. 1958.

Thanks for the answer!
Do you know another source other than this site and wikipedia for information on EPas?

"Lot"?
200g aren´t a "lot", thats as much as two Hamburger buns.
Yes - we like "real", dark, "moist", e.g. rye bread and can´t have sweet, fluffy, sponge bread all the time .
We have 600 different kinds of bread.

Re: German EPa "Typ A" unknown ration
It´s 2 x 200g.
So one is for continental breakfast, the second you have e.g. with the stew.
Which of the 600 different kinds of bread we have in Germany is too sour and strong to you?
