Interesting topic.Many interesting thoughts..My opinion is that NK doesn't want a war at all.That "playboy guy", Kim Jong whoever, knows that a war would end his "dream life". He studied in the West, he has Internet so he knows much more than the average North Korean. He is just playing with his people...it's an old game..
It's really unbelievable that something like that still egsists in the 21 Century...That guy has his own kingdom..
In the 1980-ies North Korean SF visited Hungarian SF and they trained together.Tough guys,really brainwashed.
As for rations.They don't need rations to be effective.Hunger makes them wild and crazy+brainwashing.
I think that the great NK invasion would last until they would see the first supermarket in the South.They would end up eating till they die.
Or not.Most worrying is that they are fanatic as hell.

Same experience made the Hungarian SF that time.It is said that the North Korean SF used even a fork as a weapon they were able to throw it like a knife.When I get home (late Oct.) I'm gonna try to find and scan the article.
