You will not find real multicam on the surplus market. (perhaps ebay)
There is plenty of civilian multicam though usually made from different materials than the official.
Just remember Multicam fades, like crazy

Real Marpat is available but very difficult to find in large sizes
Civilian Marpat is around.
Marpat is great camo in my opinion

What ever set you have its important to use it properly on the right terrain.
There are times when you need to mix and match, like on a hill/mountain.
Light top dark bottom , same in woods

Housil you would be better with a different pattern with more green and lighter colors on top in this terrain
Woodland on top here would offer you more concealment
Woodland on top here would offer you more concealment

Riggers belt, you have a lot of choices.
-Make sure its actually a real riggers belt and is rated properly for the strap and buckle.(several thousand pound breaking strength on both)
-They can be uncomfortable to wear, but when you need it, you need it.
-Excellent combo to use with a small escape rope kit.
-Get a good one and you can do more than wear it, like tow a truck if you have to

To me, the desert patter blends in better

than our "Woodland".

But usualy I don´t wear it "at home". It´s a desert uniform and winter here is far from being hot like a desert...

I prefer 5-color-Flecktarn always

Yes from the waist down only though.

I will try to find some good examples, it makes a dramatic difference.

I had and I'll have some Flecktarn, Oli. But I love the functionality of US ACU uniform, while I really hate the colours. That's why I'm interested. I had 2 pairs of Flecktarn trousers, but I destroyed on SAR training, was the most confortable and solid pants I ever had, but nothing lasts forever. The boots was a pair of Bates M9 desert, and I cracked open a sole, so I'll always match my gear with the terrain I'll use on.

I wish that Cracker come back on the forum, he took this picture 2 years ago, I miss him. :)

Here in the south,

Multicam is the Middle eastern's godsend of every desert pat', ever.
I've seen it used in desert terrain, woodland, and...well that's it. If you want a good Dese/Urban, stick with ACU, or get ATACS.

I prefer ACUPAT, but i wish i had some of those UCP-Delta's, ( the Puke coloured ACUs).

They are pretty easy to get over here (back home in Germany). If do you need, I can get you some and send them next month?
