So last night I was on the phone with Ruleryak and we are of the opinion that this could very well be the first time in history that there has been an expo on military rations. If so, I am sure Tina would like to put that in the announcement for the expo. What does everyone else think? Does anyone know of any other event that focused on Military Rations?? If it is the first time ever, do you really want to miss it? Come join us for a historical event. Who knows, maybe it's the start of something new.

Please let us know if you know of any other previous events.

So, has anyone started making plans?

I know the Symposiums on Sunday Morning, but who's gonna be in the area early? Wanna try to designate a hotel as Ground Zero? Or, considering who and what we are, a CampGround....

I'm looking at a roughly 7-9hr drive, it'll be fall in Va, I'm gonna try to make a road trip out of it, hopefully with the wife. Maybe leave early and hit some of the sights around DC or Norfolk the day or two before....Playing with ideas.

Started yes, life interfered a bit but back on track after this weekend.

I was considering camping, but think the SO is coming so a hotel it is. But i will be there for the weekend as its quite a drive.

ETA ill be passing thru DC hopefully with out much traffic, dont think i will stay. Whats in norfolk?

There is a pretty good campground across the street next door to the amusement park. Get your reservations in early cause that's a busy weekend for the park.

Faith and I will be at the campground. Was planning on a big fire and rations for dinner if anyone wants to stop by.
