The oldest EPA i tried was made in 1967. I eat this two years ago, ist tasted very well. And iam still alive. Had no prpblems after that.

A few weeks ago i opend a can with bread from 1972, was also very fine. the trick is the type of bread is made without yeast and so it can not get mouldy.

Another trick is using sugar, is the same effect which is good for cooking marmalade.
At the Bundeswehr they told us, the german EPAs are good for 25 years and longer.
