I couldn't stand it any longer, and ordered a Russian ration from the "Soviet Military Stuff" site.

$47.90, shipped to VA. I don't see them being any cheaper in the future, so might as well.

I'll let you guys know what and when I get it.

Your PC has microsoft windows?

You can use Windows Movie Maker that is at every Windows for the first steps. Cut off everything you don´t like arrange the 3 clips and save it.

I'm editing his video, and the experience I've had with movie maker wasn't pleasurable at all, plus I've got fancy video editing programs that have better effects and such.

For the FIRST STEPs I recommanded movie maker as pablo_fiasco is absolutly no familiar in video editing!

I´m personal using Magix Video deLux Plus that runs simultaneously 32 tracks of film, sound, editing, titles...

Alright as I found out from pablo, the ration he has is a somewhat civilian version of the Индивидуальный рацион питания - повседневный (ИРП-П) ration.

The one I suppose you could say that is most discussed or most seen on japanese ration sites is the Индивидуальный рацион питания
боевой ИРП-Б which contains a bit more food and accessories.

fdsman...what I posted earlier. Some of the rats from sovietsurplus are civilian equivalents of the IRP-B.
The first thing is that to be a REAL military issue,ALL of the components packets have a stylized soviet/russian red star.
