As an addendum to the previous discussion, here's another for sale on eBay already bidding for much more: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arctic-MRE-Cold ... SwR7NZc78g

I'm intrigued by the one that says vermicelli with meat sauce. I'm assuming that's spaghetti with meat sauce. Hopefully a reviewer can get there hands on it and show all of us.

I raised it from $100 to $215, but I'm not going higher. The condition is not that great....

Wow, I'm amazed that anyone would be willing to spend that much on some old rations but I can totally see why. I'm sure these sellers are just completely baffled by this. I keep having dreams of finding a ton of old RCWs just laying around for like 75 cents. Then I wake up and am instantly saddened. I don't know why, but this has happened to me three or four times. Pretty weird, I don't mind telling you!

By the way, at that price of $250, I hope that certain someone makes good use of it more than just happy floaters in a sewer! Sheesh!

Whoever that t***k(26) guy is, I hope he does not get burned by a rancid ration. By the look of it, it was not stored inside and may have been kicked around a few times

Looks like the same guy took a run at the last one. He is set to pay $69 more that the last one that went for $182.50...
The last one was in much better condition.

I blame it on Steve's raving review of the RCW.

From personal experience they really are quite awesome. I've written reviews and taken pictures to go along with a Menu 5 A and B pouch from 1996 here on the forum.
