No aftertaste, just great hazelnut flavour.
Are you familiar with "Splenda"? Splenda is not a (awefull tasting) sweetener,
but made from real sugar.

I rather use a small amount of sugar or any substitute like brown sugar, agave nectar or honey rather than any artificial sweetener that causes cancer in the long run like aspartame or sucralose ( splenda).

I have similar concerns about the artificial sweeteners, and I know that some are worse than others, even after saccharin was dis-continued. The commonly "accepted" theory is that a person would have to consume trmendous amounts of the sweeteners to have any ill effects, but since cancer takes years to develop, who knows? I have heard mixed views on splenda, but it seems to be one of the less dangerous ones. Thanks for the info housil and Bypah.

Not to go too far of OT, just about that cancer-link. Due to that link, they say."
...results from subsequent carcinogenicity studies (studies that examine whether a substance can cause cancer) of these sweeteners have not provided clear evidence of an association with cancer in humans. Similarly, studies of other FDA-approved sweeteners have not demonstrated clear evidence of an association with cancer in humans.
Male rats got bladder cancer after using high dose. Too bad they don´t mention what a "high dose" was.
But you are right, no effect without side effect

Splenda is just chlorinated sugar, I use it daily, as I also have DM-2.
And Rationtin, about that postum...
There was a guy I used to work with, he always had a jar of postum.
I made the mistake of taking off the lid and sniffing it....
A few particles went up my nose, it was worse than CS gas!
BURN, baby, BURN!

Actually dirtbag, I never considered this but speaking of burning it is amazing how nasty postum and dry creamer will react with an open flame!
